Xanadu Review on Tour

Ok Guys!!! I am so sorry that I have not been working on my blog for so long. So last month I watched Xanadu at the La Jolla Playhouse. I sat on-stage because I knew it was fun and the actors interact with you. I just love the cast but I think that the parts where the actors sings should be much louder. The casting was really great. As you watch the show, you could tell that you can see some chemistry with Elizabeth Stanley and Max von Essen! If you saw the show on broadway then you know it is hillarious. I watched a lot of xanadu videos on youtube and the way the actors play it on tour, they make the show their own!!!! Freakin Awesome. Go see the tour since it closed on broadway! I got to meet some of the cast members and they were all nice and they got to sign my playbill/performance book! Do you guys remember the movie called Two Weeks Notice??? Well the lady in the movie who had a small part that says "What Baby????" because the guy thought she was pregnent. Well that lady named Sharon Wilkins plays Melpomene and she has to be one of my favorite characters because she was hillarious hillarious hillarious!!!

Sorry that I have not been posting stuff. I've been so busy these days that I do not have the time. Wow! This saturday I am going to see Xanadu the broadway tour! I Can not wait! By the way, I am sitting on stage so this is going to be great since I am actually being part of the show. Make shure to check my blog on saturday to see what I thought about XANADU! Sucks that it closed in New York huh?

The Drowsey Chaperone Review!!!

Wow! The drowsy Chaperone was hillarious!!!!!! I sat in the lodge so I had a perfect view of the stage!!!!! The show was about a man who lives by himself in his house and he talks about the broadway show The Drowsy Chaperone. As he plays the records on his record player, the broadway show begins with the music.The show itself is about a young couple that is going to get married! Some parts were so funny because the narrarator would fast forward the parts that were boring and also the actors would follow the music and still act it out. I would say if the play ends up playing in your city! Go watch it! You will laugh your butt off!!!!

San Diego Broadway Fans!

Cant go to New York to see a broadway show??? Well if you live in San Diego, here is a list of broadway shows that are going to be playing here in San Diego.

Xanadu- November 11- December 31 in Mandell Weiss Theatre (Go see it, I know its a hit!)

GREASE- MARCH 3-8, 2009 in Civic Theatre(They should stay longer instead of six days!)

RENT- March 10-15, 2009 in Civic Theatre (Must see it since they close it in New York! Only opportunity to see the show!)

Spring Awakening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my dam! I just love Spring Awakening! It has to be my favorite broadway show. Love everything about it especially the music. From Mama who bore me to The Bitch of Living and Totally Fucked!!!!!! If your a teen, then you must go see it with your friends. There are warnings about the show with mature themes and sexual parts, well in my opinion, there is more to this show than just sexual themes. You will also laugh your behind off because they are so funny like in one part the guy is masterbating on a chair and theres a piano teacher teaching another guy. Well the piano teacher told him to bring out his left hand on the piano. The guy masterbating switched his hands assuming she was talking to him. FrEaKiN fUnNy! Must see show! They have a tour for the rest of the year and 2009 so check there website! www.springawakening.com

I saw them when they came to San Diego and I loved all the characters but the person who played "Isle" which was Steffi D from that Canadian Idol. The Phantom of the Opera

Who hasent seen the Phantom of the Opera if your a fan of broadway? Love the music ofcouse especially the theme song!!!!!!! The first time I saw it, the beginning made me jump a little in my seat since the chandelier popped when a little smoke came about. In the end, dont you think it was sad that the Phantom just loved her but couldnt have her???? I felt bad for him. I heard that there are two different endings to this show but I dont know if its even true. When I watched it, he disappeared. I heard the other ending was the Phantom killed himself. May have to do research on that. Little tip if you want to see the play, if you sit on the balcony, you cant see some of the parts because they are walking on something that is covered by the top curtains on stage!
